Nefraa Defence’s antenna positioners are intelligently designed and ruggedly built to endure the most extreme environments. Our antenna positioners and satellite tracking systems deliver powerful, fast, and high-precision performance, making them ideal for Ka-, Ku-, X-, S-, and L-band tracking applications. These elevation-over-azimuth positioners, available in sizes ranging from 1.8 meters to 7.3 meters, offer unmatched accuracy, operational flexibility, and reliability.
Each antenna system includes standard equipment such as feed mounting poles, an antenna tracking controller unit, and a comprehensive maintenance tool kit. Standard options support AC or DC power and 100BASE-T Ethernet, with optional fiber connectivity available. Nefraa Defence also provides multiple reflector size options, with diameters from 1.5 meters to 7.3 meters, along with flexible single and multi-band RF configurations.
Our products are built to meet the stringent performance and accuracy demands of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellite tracking ground stations, Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), Earth Observation Satellite (EOS) systems, Direct Broadcast (DB), radar, Search and Rescue Satellite (SARSAT), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle/Remotely Piloted Vehicle Tracking (UAV/RPV), trailer-mounted tracking, and other custom applications.
The entire system is sealed and pressurized with dehydrated air or nitrogen gas to prevent corrosion of critical components such as the controller, electromechanical parts, and feed. This eliminates internal rust issues, such as failing brakes and weakened gears. Temperature and humidity sensors are monitored by the ACU, which automatically purges the system with fresh, dry air or nitrogen when needed. Even in the event of a pressurization failure, the antenna continues to operate reliably.
